Who we are
Islamic Funds (www.islamicfunds.pk) is an independent information website about Shariah-compliant mutual funds in Pakistan. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the site and how we use it.
Browsing the site
You can use every page and calculator without creating an account. We use Vercel Web Analytics to count visits, pages viewed, referring sites, country, device and browser type. It does not use cookies and does not identify you personally.
Our hosting provider, Vercel, keeps standard server logs, such as IP address and request time, for security and to keep the site running.
Calculators
Amounts you enter into the SIP, monthly profit, Zakat, pension and comparison calculators are processed in your browser or used only to calculate the result you asked for. We do not store them.
Contact form
When you send a message through the contact page, we store your name, email address, subject and message so we can reply. We do not sell this information or use it for marketing. You can ask us to delete your message at any time through the contact page.
Fund assistant
Questions you type into the “Ask about funds” assistant are sent to our AI providers (Google Gemini and Groq) to generate an answer from our fund data. We do not store the text of your conversation; we keep only technical usage records such as response time and token counts. Please do not enter personal or financial details into the assistant.
Cookies and advertising
The site does not set advertising or tracking cookies today. We may in future show ads served by Google AdSense. If we do, Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google’s Ads Settings (adssettings.google.com) or at www.aboutads.info. We will update this policy before such cookies are used.
Links to other sites
Pages link to asset management companies, MUFAP and other websites. Their privacy practices are their own; please read their policies.
Children
The site is intended for adults making financial decisions. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
We may update this policy as the site changes. The date below shows the latest version.
